I saw a graphic online. It showed that in the 2025 playoffs, 1st in points is Shai. 1st in assists is Haliburton. 1st in steals is Caruso. And 1st in rebounds is Chet. And then, in the 2024 playoffs, the 1st in all those categories: Luka Dončić. That’s really amazing.

Also amazing, all those Haliburton game winners and Indiana comebacks. I saw a stat saying that one of the things they did this playoffs had a 1 and 1.5 million chance of happening. I forgot exactly what it was though. What a run.

But going back, I’m really hoping Rob Pelinka will put a great roster around Luka. LeBron mentioned on his podcast that teams win championships, not individual players. And in the playoffs, different players can make the difference in any given moment to win or lose you the game.
