According to Athlon Sports, Lakers Fans are excited after Chris Paul news. That was the title of the article. It was the title of the link. I Googled Lakers and that was one of the search results that appeared. I did not click it though. I hate clickbait. It’s actually really annoying. I hate those incomplete headlines like “LeBron James give powerful 4-word message to media”. And then you have to click to find out what the “powerful 4-word message” is (Like, is it really “powerful”?). And if you click, billions of ads pop up. A banner here, a tiny video there. And then the quality of the article is extremely low. In between every paragraph are more ads. And then sometimes, you have to click a next button, which then leads you to more ads.
So there was the headline claiming Lakers fans were excited. And instead of saying straight up what the “Chris Paul news” was, they require you to click it. Which would be fine if there were no ads.
But yeah, I get it. It’s all for money. Everyone has a family to support and it’s understandable. I guess I’ll click it next time.
